Roulette Odds Uk
If you are a regular roulette player then you know that roulette odds are very important when it comes to winning. This is because you know that higher odds mean higher winnings but at the same time it means that the outcome has less chances to be in your favour.
European Roulette offers the best odds for UK players. The biggest advantage it has over American Roulette is the single 0 pocket on the wheel. This keeps the odds for even money bets, such as red or black, to be nearly 50%. Well, don’t worry, as we’ve prepared a visual guide to roulette odds and their payouts, right here. The rules of roulette are quite simple. You have the wheel with red and black slots each with a number from 1 to 36. And depending on whether you’re playing on European or American roulette, you also have one or two green zero slots. Roulette77 is the extraordinary online service made by British for British. Roulette Odds Explained
Let’s start by explaining the types of bets you can have on a roulette table.
There are two main types/groups of bets that you can have on a roulete table.
- Inside bets
- Outside bets
Inside bets refer to the bets on the numbers that are in the roulette wheel. This could be a single number or a combination of numbers from 2 to 6 in total.
Outside bets refer to any bets that are outtside the numbers board like red or black, Colum, Dozen, Odd or Even etc.
Depending on the type of roulette wheel you chose to play at i.e. European/French or American Roulette, the odds will change slightly. This is because American Roulette has an extra pocket with a 00.

These are also known as “Call Bets” When you play online roulette. The terminology Call bets and Announced Bets is used by high stakes roulette players in land based casinos abroad.
Here is how it works: The player doesn’t put any chips on the table but they just announce their call bet. For example, a high roller that is also known to the land based casino can just announce a 10K bet on a number without actually putting any chiops on the table. This is of course limited to specific players that are regulars to the casino and have proved they can afford the Announced bets they palce.
These bets are not allowed in the UK at any land based casino.
But this terminology has been used for online roulette for years now in order to describe the fixed combination of bets on a roulette table.
We can find these fixed combinations on European or French roulette and this is why there two different names for them depending on the table.
Here are the most well known ones:

Suggestions and Betting Advice
The two main types of bets are inside and outside bets. The inside bets can be used to represent specific areas around the roulette wheel, whereas outside bets represent deliberately randomized sections of the wheel.
Typically the maximum bet limit is much higher for outside bets than it is for inside bets. This is for a few reasons. Firstly, outside bets are guaranteed to lose in the long term, so casinos want you to bet big. Inside bets can represent specific sectors of the roulette wheel, and all roulette system or technique that legtimate beat roulette in the long-term are based on bets on wheel sectors.
General Tips
See roulette tips and free roulette system that works for much more detailed professional advice. But below are basic tips specifically regarding bets and the table:
- Play on European Single 0 wheels where possible: The house edge is double on the American 00 wheel. In other words, you have a much better chance of profiting on European single 0 wheels.
Roulette Odds Green
- Consider the frequency at which wins will occur, so you don’t make bets that may take you hours to have a win: For example, if you are playing for fun and bet on a single number, you can expect to win on 1 in 35 spins. This is about an hour of play and it will be tedious if you are only playing for fun. You could of course bet on many individual numnbers, but this can be costly if your numbers don’t spin.
- Consider the time of day when you play: during peak periods, the wheel may spin as infrequently as once every 5 minutes. This can detract from the fun of playing.
